President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi recognised Helm and its inclusion champions at the closing ceremony of Egypt Forum 2026 (19–24 October 2026), under the “Egypt’s Future Makers” initiative.
The honour marks 15 years of Helm’s work to advance the inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Helm’s football team — athletes with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities — won the Genuine Cup in the USA, beating Andorra 2–1 in the final, and took the Best Energy award.
